Commissioner's New Plan Letter Posted

The House Ways and Means Committee held a "Joint Hearing on Commissioner of Social Security's Proposed Improvements to the Disability Determination Process" on September 27, 2005. Today, I posted an excerpt of a letter I submitted for the record to that committee. The letter outlines what I think has been a major contributor to the failures of past attempts at redesigning the disability determination process, and what should be done about it. This excerpt is found in the "General Articles" section.
