About This Site

I built this site for Social Security disability applicants, their attorneys, other claimant representatives, and disability advocacy groups. It provide articles, links, graphs, and PDFs you can download, which relate to the Social Security disability program and application process.

Mixed with program facts and figures are my own writings about the program, medical issues relating to Social Security disability, and how the disability application and decision process can be improved.

Since the Social Security Administration is in the process of updating the Listing of Impairments, medical issues will concentrate on these new listings. My expertise in the program relates to adult physical impairments, and that will be the main focus for medical issues and listing discussions.

My goal is to educate others about the Social Security disability program, and make the application process less stressful and more effective for those applying.
